Education in Canada

Canada provides children with excellent and free elementary (primary) and secondary education. According to a report card on competitiveness developed by the Conference Board of Canada, Canada’s high school graduation rate is 2nd only to the U.S. and its college completion rate is the best among its 17 "peer" countries. Overall Canada ranks 2nd (behind Finland) in Education and Skills.

Canadian educational credentials are recognized and respected throughout the world and with two official languages many children have the opportunity for a bilingual (French/English) education.
